Architecture & Technology
The NetQ Suite has been built to enable mid-sized and large enterprises to adapt rapidly.
Its component-based, multi-tier architecture separates the application into three main layers:
- The Presentation Services Tier, or user interface, which supports Windows users, Web-based browsers, disconnected users and WAN-based wireless devices.
- The Business Services Tier, where business rules and our core applications reside.
- The Data Services Layer, where we separate customer data from metadata (the way in which data is used) to facilitate customization.

NetQ Architecture & Integration Framework
Scalable. Adaptable. Flexible. |
 |
Since the NetQ technology is separated into three layers, it is easier to tweak, adjust, change and customize. One layer can be completely redefined, without affecting the other two. Less risk, less fuss, less complexity, less cost.
And we deliver a broad set of commonly needed features out-of-the-box, which our customers can quickly customize, integrate and deploy to address their current and evolving business needs.
As a result, NetQ provides exceptionally low total cost of ownership — and, more importantly, low cost-to-results — across the complete project lifecycle.
NetQ provides true integration capabilities using standards-based integration frameworks and connectors. By integration, we mean the provision of configuring and/or customizing the building blocks (i.e. data and process mapping) between two or more systems allowing for easy, cost-effective incorporation of real time or delayed data access even when the most complex business processes exist.
NetQ provides integration to external applications using the following.
- Middleware tools like BizTalk, Scribe, webMethods, etc.
- Web Services / XML
NetQ is a highly scalable, adaptable, flexible, and affordable platform that simplifies system availability across the organization. For example, its unique mobile technology enables completely disconnected laptops where the experience is identical to LAN-connected experience. Satellites servers add an additional level of scalability and enable flexible deployment to satellite and remote offices.
