Financial Management
This module in NetQ is adopted to track costs associated with deploying the network. It allows customers to define and manage equipment and services provided by third party vendors that may be required to complete a work item such as site acquisition, zoning and permitting, construction, or equipment installation. The Financial module provides a workflow enabled approval process and tracks all purchasing, invoicing, and payment transactions throughout the network lifecycle to better manage budget and control costs.
Work Order & Maintenance Management
Work Orders are created to automate tasks associated with network rollout and operations activities such as construction, installation, inspection, repair, and maintenance using a powerful service calendar with timeline view and resource scheduling capability. The Maintenance functionality in NetQ supports the functions for maintaining and recording the current configuration settings of assets (i.e. equipment, switches, alarms, radio transmissions, etc.) installed in a site. NetQ supports different types of maintenance such as inspection, preventive maintenance, and repair.
NetQ leverages task lists to describe a sequence of individual activities which must be performed within a site. Task lists are used to standardize these recurring work sequences and to plan them more effectively for the technicians. Many manufacturers deliver their equipment together with installation and maintenance task lists that can be configured in the system. The advanced scheduler in NetQ provides a powerful time/resource planning calendar to manage project activities more efficiently.
The NetQ Work Order Scheduler supports different view types such as timeline, monthly, weekly, and daily.
Asset/Inventory Management
The powerful Asset & Inventory Management module in NetQ helps organizations better manage, supervise, and track the movement of their fixed assets such as equipment and spare parts. You can track asset movement throughout its lifespan, for example from the time it is purchased and stored in the warehouse to a point that it's moved to an on-air site or to a repair center in case it becomes faulty. Integration with ERP systems, PDA, barcode reader, and label printer is fully supported.
